How about some pro tips?

SURFACE

SURFACE

SURFACE

Porcelain and ceramic are the most suitable surfaces; however, the Suteka Tattoos can also be applied to enamel and glass (ensure they are oven-safe for the setting process). It will stick to other flat non-textured surfaces, such as wood, plastic, drywall, or metal, but it may not fully adhere, especially the last step is skipped. If oven use is not possible due to the object's size (i.e tiles), a hairdryer / heat gun can be used to dry and heat.

POSITION

POSITION

POSITION

For best results, we recommend applying Suteka on flat and smooth surfaces, avoiding concave or convex areas (with large tattoos). When decorating plates, place the tattoo away from the center and steer clear of the knife cutting area to ensure durability. For cups and bowls, it’s best to avoid applying the tattoo inside, as very hot water may affect its longevity.

CLEANING

CLEANING

CLEANING

Suteka Home Decor Tattoos are made to last—and yes, they’re dishwasher-safe (applies only for the new Suteka edition)! They’re designed for regular, everyday use and can handle typical dishwasher cycles. That said, because dishwasher settings and detergents vary, we recommend starting with one test item or opting for gentle hand-washing to keep your designs looking their best. For best results, choose a low-temp cycle (below 130°F / 55°C).

REMOVING

REMOVING

Ready for a change? Removing your Suteka is just as easy as applying it—even after it’s been heat-set. Just pour boiling water over the tattoo, wait 2–3 minutes, then wipe it off with a cotton pad and a bit of acetone. That’s it :)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship to my country?

Yes! We ship worldwide

We're US based and ship from the US (DE), but we love our international customers and ship regularly to the UK, Australia, EU and many other countries.

Can I customize the tattoos?

YES!

You can now get your name, initials, and even logo or artwork in a personalized premium Suteka home decor tattoo. Click here to start customizing your Suteka.

Is Suteka dishwasher proof?

Yes :)

The tattoos are generally capable of enduring dishwasher cycles, and are designed to fit your daily regular use. However, their durability cannot be universally guaranteed due to the variability in dishwasher programming and the use of different detergents. This is why for optimal longevity, we advise first testing with one item or hand washing with care.

Is Suteka food-safe?

Yes.

The tattoos were tested by a Food Safety laboratory and found to be completely toxic free and safe to be used in contact with food upon completing the full setting process (using heat).
