Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. Top rack, low-temp or eco cycle, no heated dry. Hand washing lasts longest.
Dishwasher settings and detergents vary, so test one item first and keep cycles under 122°F / 50°C.
Can I apply it to any surface?
Porcelain and ceramic work best. Enamel and glass work too (make sure they're oven-safe for the setting step).
Flat, smooth wood, plastic, drywall or metal will hold a tattoo, but it may not fully adhere, especially if you skip the heat step. Textured surfaces and anything that can't take the heat (300°F / 150°C, or a hairdryer on high) won't work well.
Any tips for handling & care?
- Make sure the surface is completely dry before heating. Trapped water burns and leaves brown marks.
- Avoid the inside of soup bowls and teacups. Boiling water (over 212°F / 100°C) weakens the tattoo over time.
- Keep it away from the plate's center or anywhere knives cut often.
- Hand washing lasts longest. In the dishwasher: top rack, low-temp or eco cycle, no heated dry.
Is Suteka food-safe?
Yes. After the heat-setting process, Suteka is safe for food-contact surfaces. The tattoos are lab-tested to meet FDA standards for food safety.
How to apply?
Cut it out, dip in water for 15 seconds, slide it on, wipe dry, then set it with an oven (30 min) or a hairdryer (5 min). See the step-by-step guide and videos here.
Can I remove the tattoo after completing the setting process?
Yes. Wipe it with a cotton pad soaked in acetone and it comes right off. Then apply a new design.

Is shipping free?
In the US, Standard shipping is free on orders of $55 or more. Below that it's $8.90.

Do you ship to my country?
Probably yes :) We ship to 190+ countries. Add an item to your cart and enter your address at checkout to see the rates for your country.
What is the estimated shipping times?
In the US, Standard delivery usually takes 3-8 business days from the day you order, depending on where you are:
- NY, NJ, PA, CT, MD, DC, DE, VA: 3-4 business days
- Rest of the East, the Southeast and the Great Lakes: 4-5 business days
- TX, OK, LA, AR, MO, KS, NE, IA, MN, ND, SD: 5-6 business days
- AZ, CO, UT, NM, ID, MT, WY: 5-7 business days
- CA, WA, OR, NV: 6-8 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii and US territories: 10-14 business days
The exact range for your address is shown at checkout. International orders usually arrive within about 7 business days, depending on the country.

Do you offer Express shipping?
Yes, in the US. UPS Expedited is $18 and arrives in 4 business days. Express is $45 and arrives in 2-3 business days. Both show up at checkout.
What's the status of my order and how can I track it?
Orders usually ship within 1-2 business days. Once your order has shipped, you'll get an email with your tracking link.

What is your custom/duty policy?
Some countries charge customs duties or taxes on imported goods, usually above a certain value. This rarely happens with Suteka orders, but rules differ by country and change often, so our prices don't include local taxes, duties, brokerage fees or VAT. Please check your country's rules before ordering.

What is Suteka's return policy?
You can return unused, unopened items in their original packaging within 30 days of receiving them.
We can email you a prepaid return label ($8.90, deducted from your refund), or you can ship it back yourself. The refund is issued once the package reaches our warehouse and lands within 5-7 business days.
